Friday Find: DIY

Why I've not been using food to hold food until now is beyond me...  Life should really be divided into pre-Pinterest and post-Pinterest (and pre-Pinterest just doesn't count).  The next time you have to whip up some munchies just get a bunch of veggies, and then hollow out a couple of peppers to hold the dip.   It's an easy and quick appetizer - and guaranteed to earn you points for creativity :)

I love the Pre- and Post- pinterest reference! Isn't that the truth?? I love your veggie plate and what a great idea with the dip! Have a great weekend!

I could dive into that veggie plate right about now!

Using a small pumpkin to hold pumpkin dip for fruit would be very appropriate to the season as well.

MMM, that looks very, very inviting. Though I have to admit I'm not mad about raw carrots. I think I'd add in some celery sticks! :)

There is nothing I love more than a good veggie platter. I would totally be the girl to chomp on that green pepper with all of the dressing when everyone was done. Cute idea!

This sounds so bizarre but when I go to a party I never eat the veggie tray I am not sure why.

OK so I know you are still dreaming of a gold sweater and I came across one at Forever 21 last night. It's a lighter gold than the one I have from H&M and it is NOT stiff.... Like you can actually move it!! Do you want me to pick it up for you or I can search through F21's site this weekend and send you the link?

YUM veggies! I love cucumbers and tomatoes :) And the dip looks so much more appealing in the bell pepper. I sometimes bake vegetables in a hollowed out pumpkin because it looks kind of cool too. haha but only during thanksgiving because hollowing out a pumpkin is not fun D:
