Adding a tough jacket to this summer maxi dress gives it a new and edgy look for fall. And I'm wearing my new favorite necklace... a gift from my boyfriend who knows I love turtles :) And so a Motor Maxi is what happens when you combine a motorcycle jacket with a maxi dress. And carrying Rex like a baby is what happens when he doesn't listen (it's a very common look for us).

This is such a fun contrast! The leather jacket is edgy, but that gorgeous maxi is feminine and elegant. Also a great way to take a maxi skirt from summer to fall.

I honestly sometimes find the moto jacket + girlie dress combo a little too much for my taste, but I actually really like it together here - I think the darker colors in the dress go well with the jacket and it's not such a crazy contrast. Great look!
I love that the motorcycle jacket kind've quiets down that print of the maxi! It's a gorgeous combo.
