There are many ways to wear plaid shirts, but if you are me there is only one - and it's with a skirt. This post is more of a rerun vs. a remix (evidenced below) - but sometimes it's Monday morning and I just want my outfit to be easy. So I grab my trusty plaid shirt, pick a skirt, and call it a remix. It's like having popcorn, cheese and wine in the house- you can always find dinner there :)

Gorgeous color combo, Heather! It's funny how that skirt's color is such a neutral and matches so well to patterns and plaids :) Such a great staple item to have. The same goes for your plaid shirt, a trusty plaid makes getting dressed on busy days so much easier!

I don't think I'd be brave enough to wear it with he purple skirt but it somehow does work. I'd opt for the blue one personally. One of these days I'll get daring ;)

I wish I was able to go without stockings or fleece lined tights this late in December! I think your skirt and plaid provide the perfect mix of brights.
