I'd been on the hunt for the perfect chambray shirt for awhile... which meant the right color, the right details, at the right price. For some reason I got $20 stuck in my head and I didn't want to spend more. Old Navy had a cute option, although it didn't meet all my criteria and at the time was $25 (now on sale for $17.50!). So when I found "the one" at Target for $19.99, I may have made a slight scene (gasping, oohhing and ahhhing). Moral of this story: NEVER settle: I was very close to settling for less - and now I have the perfect chambray shirt... among other things ;)

I am loving your shoes! I have a similar pair from Nine West but are a maroon suede material but yours are much more spring/summer appropriate!

I agree with you about waiting until you find the clothing item that meets your needs. I have trouble with doing that. I am always doing my spring shopping as soon as the first shipments hit in the stores. I need to wait to give the perfect piece of clothing time to appear, and not just buy the first pair of white pants I see.
You look lovely! Love the belt and the skirt!
I haven't seen this chambray at my target! It's very nice. I recently bought one from JCrew outlet that I love! And it's true... You should never settle for anything! Patience grasshopper.. Patience!
LOVE those shoes! I clicked on your link which took me straight to the Nine West site. Are they current Heather? Love the casual shirt pairing with the edgy leather skirt.
Very cute, classic outfit and love that belt!!!
A little patience pays off!! Congrats on finally finding "the one"! I have my eye on that adorable belt!! I love Francesca's!! Have a great week!!

Oh wow, that is a great shirt and I love that skirt! The belt is the perfect detail! Great shoes too!
Love your shirt!! I bought a chambray shirt at Target last summer for $20 too. I definitely couldn't justify spending more than that at the time. Although, I've found that I wear that shirt a lot!

I think you got yourself a great deal and I usually set a price on what I want to pay for something. $20 for a chambray shirt is a fair price!
Love your blog :)
