This is what I wore on a night out with my guy... simple, comfortable, and weather appropriate. Is is a thousand degrees anywhere else? I'm literally melting in these pictures (and I tend to get crabby when I'm hot). There is nothing worse than trying to do your hair while makeup is sliding off your sweaty face (not to mention reapplying deodorant for the third time). Typically if my hair is in a braid, that means I was having hot flashes while getting ready, and pulling it off my face was the only acceptable thing to do besides cut it all off. Sooooo... back to date night. Lucky guy, hey? :)

That stress is fabulous on you! The colours look so great with your hair and skin tone! I'm the same...I HATE being hot. I get so uncomfortable and feel like I can't breathe. The worst part definitely has to be the make up melting down my face. :)

What a pretty maxi dress, and it's perfect for hot summer days! You don't look melted at all, by the way :) But at least you can put your hair in a braid. Mine's in that awkward growing out stage and I can't really do anything with it!!

That is such a pretty maxi...I love the green on you! I never would've known from the photos how hot it was since you still look perfect :) The hot weather is apparently coming this way tomorrow. My hair will probably be in a ponytail/bun for the rest of summer.

Haha, so true - I absolutely hate getting ready when it's unfathomably hot (and humid!) out! It's been 95 and above here all week, so I feel your pain! Braids and ponytails are total lifesavers :)

What a fabulous maxi dress. Those green tones totally complent your skin tone hair and is so refreshing. I hate it as well when it uncomfortable hot outside, the just straightened hair gets curly again and the make up just melts down your face.

I love the pattern on this dress - like a gorgeous water color painting! Maxi dresses are my go-to when it is a million degrees outside... like it is here in Nashville right now. Getting out of the shower already sweating - that means it is summer!
