Same... but Different

Dress (Banana Republic Outlet); Scarf (Calvin Klein find at Marshalls);
Shoes (Target); Earrings (Nordstrom)

I recently found this bright lime scarf at Marshalls and thought it was perfect for Spring/Summer... and I also thought it would be a great contrast to the color blue.  And then I got a serious case of deja vu.  I have a very similar scarf, and had created a very similar color combo (original post here).  One could argue that the scarves are a different color and pattern = but the truth is I basically just bought the same scarf.  But it's okay - it makes the 10 shades of the same lip gloss color I own seem a bit less crazy :)

Lol, now I see where you got the idea to pair a scarf with my jumpsuit! Love both scarves, and if they were both a good deal, then even better! I'm loving the green with the blue, beautiful color combo.

I love the scarf! Such a pretty color. :)
And I do the same thing all the time; I find something I like, and then all I buy is more like what I already have.

I do this constantly too! Hey, look at it this way–at least you know what you like and stick to it! :)

Beth (Coffee Until Cocktails) said...

I've totally done this! Sometimes it's with t-shirts, I'll buy something in a very similar shade to something else I already have. Oh well, if it works, you should go with it! The more the merrier!

haha I always buy items similar to ones I already have, whether it's clothing or makeup. Oops! Love the bright scarf here!

No, no. They're both different which completely justifies buying the 2nd one :)

I am loving the gorgeous zesty hue of your scarf, what a pretty vibrant piece to accessorized with, both looks are incredibly chic, the first is my fav

Hey, when you find something that works - why not?! This is a great color combo & I love both scarves!

And now I must study your pictures closely to see how you managed to make that fluffy scarf still look weather appropriate with that summer dress. It's a look I've been trying to perfect but can't seem to master (watch out for tomorrow's post on some commentary on that). I always feel incongruous and I think it's coz I don't wrap the scarf properly.

Sigh.

Anyhow, you look fab today, as usual. That color combo is to die for!

(And thanks for the follow on my blog; that really means a lot since I've just started out and you are a well-respected seasoned veteran of the bloggerverse.)

Buying two of the same scarf doesn't seem very thrify of you. Also, those pics seemed to be oddly cropped - where's that beautiful face? :)

Ahahahaha! I mixed you up with Carly over on Style Snapshot! [face palm] But thaks for commenting on my blog and please don't feel obligated to follow me now that I mentioned it. ;p You're still an ace fashionista in my book.
