Office T-Shirt

Tshirt (Old Navy); Blazer (KISS/NY); Skirt (NY&Co); Necklace (Consignment Shop)
Shoes (

I love how you can pair anything with a blazer and it automatically transforms into work appropriate. Things typically reserved for the weekend (a strapless dress, tank top, and T-shirt) can easily be worn to the office with the addition of a blazer and pencil skirt.  And the best part is, all I have to do when I get home from work is put on my sweatpants and I'm ready for weeknight couch and DVR time :)

I love this! I agree a blazer can make anything look dressy! Well, I guess I've never tried a blazer with sweats - but otherwise yes, it is one of the best pieces to have!

Totally agree, Heather! I love wearing a plain grey tee with my black pencil skirt. It's so simple but looks fabulous. I tend to keep mine tucked in and sometimes belted with flats :) Might have to add a blazer next time!

I'm still in search for that perfect "office blazer." All the ones I have are a bit too heavy to wear inside all day, more of an outerwear item. You look great!

I just bought a grey t-shirt after realizing I didn't have one in my wardrobe (crazy, right?) I think I need to try this look - so fun to make a pencil skirt a little more casual :)

Also, I'm sad I'm not moving to Minneapolis, but I'm SO happy to hear you come to Chicago often - we will have to get together soon!
