Calendar Dressing

Sweater (Old Navy); Shirt & Jacket (Target); Skirt (Limited); Socks (Kohls);
Boots (Guess find at Marshalls); Glasses (gifted by Firmoo)
Watch (Michael Kors); Earrings (Nordstrom);
Belkis-Cruz Photography

Let me be perfectly clear... I am absolutely freezing in these pictures.  And I don't care.  I've had enough of these ridiculous winter like temperatures. So I've decided I'm dressing for the calendar instead of the weather. Sorry Mom, I will likely get sick- but it's not my fault!  Spring is supposed to be warmer than 30 degrees. My tights have been overworked from daily wear and my winter coats need a break. Rex is going stir crazy because it's been forever since we've been to the dog park.  And I'm just going just plain crazy... hence why I'm standing outside in the cold defying the weather ;)

Absolutely love this look. There's so much visual interest and it all goes together perfectly. Love the chambray under the polka dot sweater and the awesome patterned coat. Obviously a huge fan of the boots too!
Definitely agree with you... it's time to break out the warmer clothes. I'm ready to start wearing skirts and dresses! I guess I could take your approach: Will it to happen by wearing spring clothes! :)

Absolutely adore this. I adore even more that you said screw it to the super cold weather and just took photos anyway. Sounds so much like something I would do, I hate dealing with winter weather in spring!

That's what I did yesterday! My legs were numb whenever I got into a building, just from the cold, but it was so worth it to just get out of pants and tights. I returned to them today, but only because I had ten minutes to get dressed for class.

I'm also completely in love with your sweater. I've been trying to find a polka-dot sweater that I love for like...too long, now, and I'm still coming away without. Maybe I'll have to check out Old Navy to see if they've got some brighter options...
