So we can all agree that offices are generally freezing... but in this outfit I was actually too warm! Maybe it's the blanket scarf, or the long sleeve shirt under my dress, or the layers of tights, socks, and boots... but I found myself getting really uncomfortable. And yes I know I could have taken off the scarf (which would have helped lower my body temp tremendously) - but this was a look that I was determined to keep together! And was it worth it to basically spend the day in a constant hot flash? Probably not :)

Haha you're not the only one this happens to!! I've definitely done this before. I get into my car and start immediately tearing apart my outfit because I'm so dang hot. However - it's really cute!! And that scarf is amazing.

hehe blanket scarves! I think they are great to keep in the office for those randomly cold days :) Then I can snuggle up in my chair while I edit treatment reports :P

I do the same thing at work. Although my office is always freezing, the one day I wear layers it's so hot. And it just so happens that my thick sweater can't be taken off since I'm only wearing a bra underneath!

That always happens to me! My corner of the office is very warm, but the rest of it is chilly, so if I leave my desk I'm cold–just can't win! You always seem to have the most fabulous scarves though!

Ha ha...that is one HUGE scarf.
It's true though...you do need to lose some of your layers inside otherwise it's uncomfortable. Dressing for the winter season is just plain awkward.

I find I'm always warmer when I wear a scarf all day.
I love everything about this look! I think I just found another inspiration for my houndstooth dress! I finally got it back from the dry cleaners too so maybe I'll give something like this a spin!

The trial and error with layers is the reason i hate tyhe cold - It is much easer to throw on one little layer for air in the Summer but in winter i feel like I am either freezing or schvitzing. It sucks! You look really cute x

You do look cozy! Air conditioning can be ridiculous sometimes. My classroom is always really cold, but our break room is always really warm. Makes it super annoying to dress or work every day.

I feel you! I have such a love/hate relationship with winter clothes and layers. I really hate the cold (so lots of layers are a necessity) but I have a long day of work and I don't want to spend majority of it fixing my million layers while I sweat! It's an ever-going issue haha
i would so wear those boots, that skirt, and the scarf! if i got hot, i would take the scarf off though. ;)
