Do you ever feel that if anyone got a chance to look behind curtain, you'd be exposed just like the "great and powerful" Wizard of Oz? Let me explain... my tights are basically 4 inches above my belly button (which is in no way right or comfortable), my necklace is being held together with a safety pin, and the soles of my heels are starting to separate at the toe - which causes me to literally trip over my feet when I walk. And so days like this I need a little extra time and effort in the morning to piece myself together... So pay no attention to the woman behind the curtain - it may surprise you :)

Lol I took a photo in a similar outfit you'll see next week!! My skirt is pink but very similar idea. I also had to pin my necklace to keep it on place, i hate hosiery! The best discovery I found was from leggs waistband free...well they discontinued it and I almost died when I found that out!
Bahaha I love it!! I swear my tights are the same! (Tights? Girdle? Not really sure which) I love that necklace so much - it really adds a punch to the outfit.

I have definitely had those sorts of days as well - there is always more than meets the eye to an outfit. Either way, you look incredibly polished and pretty in that pencil skirt. Love the color on you. And the heels are adorable as well! Too bad they are starting to fall apart.

Heh, I'd always rather have my tights riding super high than super low. :P It is funny how that goes, how we dress up to put forth a "look." I do love how you threw this blue skirt into the monochromatic look, it brights up the gray and looks really pretty.

I am also wearing tights and a pencil skirt and it turns out my tights are way too small, so they are pinching in all the wrong places, and my skirt is really difficult to walk in.
