I'm not what you would call "outdoorsy"... I hate bugs, being dirty, and for the most part I'm good with appreciating nature from a distance. My boyfriend loves camping. In an effort to prove to him I'm not completely high maintenance, and prove to myself that I'm a tough chick who can handle a few nights sleeping outside... camping we went! Camping that included showers, electricity, bathrooms, and a wine tour :) It was a really fun weekend of slowing down, abandoning cell phones and computers, and feeling completely stress free. So yes, I'd go camping again - as long as I can shower and blow dry my hair :)

Heather, you are an absolutely adorable camper! You look like you fit right in, in a cool, stylish way, of course. I have to tell you when my husband and I were dating we had a very similar experience. He is all about camping... Even though I grew up doing it, me, now, not so much. So, I did go camping with him and big group once. The campsite included a shower, electricity, etc. I just have to brush my teeth and wash my face!! Love that pic of you and your boyfriend.
Oh, we went camping every year when I was younger! 3 weeks in a row. We had a trailer, but I always slept in a tent with my sister :) It was a lot of fun since our campsite had an outdoor pool and the ice cream truck came by every night ^^ xo
haha...I can totally relate with you about not being a camping girl but it's not a bad idea to really try the great outdoors! YOU LOOK GOOD OUTDOORS!!!

When my husband and I were dating we had gone camping a few times. When we were registering for our wedding he added a bunch of camping gear. We got most of it as wedding gifts and then I revealed that I don't really like camping. Ooops!

I have to say, my kind of camping also includes a decent bathroom haha, I'm not one to rough it in the woods :)
I'm so like you- love nature, but from a distance!! I too hate being dirty and am really scared of bugs and reptiles! Luckily, the hubby is also not too much into camping and stuff but my mother and brother are the two naturalists in our family! they can spend months outdoors and they wouldn't even know!! But camping with shower, electricity and bathroom? I'm game for it!!

Wine tour? Sangria?? You call this camping?? OK I will tell you what I consider camping...a hotel that doesn't have a spa. Yes I shamelessly admit that I am high maintainence and hate camping. Wanna know why? BECAUSE IT ALWAYS RAINS! Weather prediction calls for clear skies and as soon as I arrive...RAIN.
