Birdie

Shirt (Urban Outfitters); Skirt (Limited); Shoes (Naturalizer);
Bracelet (bought at festival); Earrings (Macy's); Love ring (Etsy);

Before there was Rex, there was Birdie... (yeah my family is super creative... a bird named Birdie).   Birdie was our pet cockatiel for most of my adolescence... and he was the best.  He walked on the ground like a dog (which resulted in him being stepped on often), he had a strange obsession with shoes (maybe that's why we bonded so well), and he loved eating spaghetti.  He is the reason I am in love with all things birds :)  So a shirt filled with a bird pattern?  I'll take two!

A bird with an obsession for shoes? Sounds like my kind of pet! :) That's so sweet, though!

I love the print on this shirt--it's so unique and fun, eek! And the way you paired that dainty feather bracelet works with it so well. Digging the color of that skirt too... so basically, I love this whole outfit.

I always wanted a bird, but my mom never would let me have one, nor would my husband. Maybe that's why I am obsessed with bird prints now (and I have two bird tattoos!)?? I love this top so much! It is adorable!

What a cute shirt, love how you paired it with a pencil skirt to dress it up. I never had a bird growing up but if I ever find a bird that likes shoes as much as I do I don't know how I'll resist buying it. Love your blog, you have great style!

beautiful cobalt skirt, love it!

our neighbor has a green parrot named slurpee.... sometimes we "bird" sit him, and he is always a riot. he loves cheerios and peanuts, but seems to tolerate shoes okay.

Awww what an adorable story, Chinese people usually don't wear shoes in the house so most of us never had pets growing up! The top is adorable, and I love the skirt.

If you lived in Chicago, we could share clothes so no worries there'll be $ left for groceries...now rent? lol! That's another story ;)
