Pearls & Flannel

Sweater Dress (Limited); Shirt (Target); Necklace (Nordstrom);
Shoes (Kohls); Photography (Simple Impressions)

Pearls and flannel are basically antonyms - sort of like Rex and listening.  Does anyone else have a dog that literally runs in the opposite direction when you tell him/her to come?  Not only does he run away, but he makes a sound that I’m pretty sure is the doggy equilviant of the middle finger.  I’m hoping the power of the flannel (yes this exists) will get him to listen... any bets?

Love how you dressed up the plaid, Heather! Jinx always acts like he doesn't know me when I call his name at the dog park. At least Oliver always comes when I call him...1 out of 2 ain't bad :)

And yes, I deal with the same Rex issues as you do - There's always something more interesting out there then coming when called! haha

Wow, even though plaid and pearls are something I would have never thought could ever look good together... you made it work! This is so flawless. I love the bright colors of that flannel shirt. And the way you tied it over your dress is too cute. :)

My dog definitely does that. I feel like he is too smart for us sometimes!

but he makes a sound that I’m pretty sure is the doggy equilviant of the middle finger...lol! yes, my dog can be like that, as well! let me know if the power of flannel is real!

That was funny. You never know - he might have meant that ;-) Now that I've seen it on you, flannel and Pears actually go well together.

Love this unusual combo, Heather. Well, my one is quite moody, sometimes she'll listen and sometimes she just looks at me and then turns her head away! Is that also doggy equivalent of showing the middle finger in a subtler way? We'll never know and I guess somethings are better left unknown!!

Heather this post made me laugh on an otherwise shit day so thank you!!! I actually dont have a dog but know that if I did, knowing my crazy personality and stubborn ways my dog would be exactly the same haha. Love this take on flannel too - the pearls are a chic addition!
