Rainbow Brite

Sweater (Macy's); Dress (JCPenney); Belt (H&M); Shoes (Nine West)
Sunglasses (Charming Charlie); Bracelets (JCPenney & Nordstrom)

I am currently obsessed with this maxi dress. I love the fun bright colors, and even as a skirt it gives me the warm and fuzzy Rainbow Brite feeling that takes me back to 1985.  With my Rainbow Brite doll in one arm and Starlite stuffed horse in the other, I remember intently watching one of my favorite cartoons...  And I will never forget the important lesson that color can challenge and win against the forces of gloom in order to keep the world bright and colorful :)

Look at you, you gorgeous girl!! I never am creative enough when getting ready to wear my maxi dress as a skirt (with top over the top) so this is fabulous style inspiration. Nothing like a pop of colour and some outfit confidence to brighten your day.

I love that dress! I was actually thinking it had a great 70's retro feel to it. It's going to look great this summer with some wedges.

Hooray! That dress is so fabulous on you and the colors are amazing. I tried that on (because we have the same fabulous taste) and my mom was bothered about some stripes not lining up and she was giving me the stank face. I shouldn't have listened to her. It is so amazing on you. Loving it with the belted sweater over it!
