Black & Blue

Skirt (Banana Republic Outlet); Sweater (Ann Taylor); Tank (H&M);
Shoes (Naturalizer); Watch (Fossil); Earrings (Limited)

Sometimes to create a new look, you just need to look at your clothes differently.  This sweater is really long, and I'm used to wearing it over skinny jeans...  And since it's a button down V-neck, I wasn't sure tucking it in would work, but it does!  So when you get bored with your clothes, try to mix them up in ways you haven't before (tuck a sweater, add a belt/scarf/accessories, layer with jackets/T's) - it's an easy way to make your old pieces new again -  and no shopping required :)

I think you did a great job restyling that cardigan! And yes, it is true once you've blogged for a while you've got really start thinking outside of the box. I am not going to lie...that gold sweater from H&M is a bear to get on. The coated gold makes it hard to maneuver because the fibers of the sweater have been painted together!

Heather I do this with dresses! (wear them under skirts) I never thought about doing it with a long sweater! Such a good idea! I also love vneck cardigans as tops now instead of as a 3rd piece, Your photos for you blog are getting so good! Did you get a new camera?
