Farmer Fabulous

Shirt (Target); Skirt & Tights (The Limited); Necklace (H&M);
Sunglasses (JCPenney); Shoes (Naturalizer)

Flannel shirts remind me of two things: middle school and farmers...  And alliteration won out for this post title - which was the better option since in middle school I was borrowing my Dad's flannel shirts in the attempts to master the grunge look (RIP Kurt Cobain).  I figure the farmer flannel required some manual labor - walking Rex counts right? It was fun to mix the tougher shirt with the girly skirt... which means this outfit officially makes me a tough girl.  Don't believe me?  Have you seen my attack dog?

Heather I love this outfit! I NEED a flannel shirt stat! And a chambray one... and you know... i NEED lots of other things (not really but it sure feels like i need to go shopping)

Love your pup and you sure do look like a tough girl! I think the tough girl in these photos should hang out with the tough girl in my "infront of the bus" photos! I think they would both ditch class together and go shopping.

You put sexy in to farmers shirts THATS for sure. I actually LOVE this outfit - what fabulous inspiration. Even though its Summer over here at the moment and we're averaging 40 degree days (eek) I have been lovin' longer sleeved button shirts tied up around the waist...maybe a little style inspiration when you rock this shirt again?

Oh Middle School. A place that for some reason flannel and construction boots were a fashion craze. This is my absolute FAVORITE outfit you've ever wore! It looks so Sex and the City to me. Love the plaid print with the ruffly, exposed zipper skirt. Everything about this is fabulous.
