Friday Find

NP Set Eye Primer (Target

I'm late to the game with everything. Case in point: I still don't have an iPhone, and it was only months ago that I realized Flo Rida =Florida. So it's really no wonder that I've been existing this long without eye primer. It's usually around 2PM that my eye shadow starts to crease and I can see the color fade. I had heard of eye primer, and so during a routine Target run I picked up the Napoleon Perdis (NP) Set Eye Primer.  And while I'm sure you can spend much more, $15 seemed like a reasonable price  It goes on smooth, and it really does make your eye make up last longer! How can you say no to a product helps your makeup last through happy hour?  After all, it is the most important meal of the day ;)

And for more Friday Fun check out Rex's interview over at Total Basset Case!

Hope the primer works for you! :)

I've tried one a few times but not as an every day thing - only because I'm not a big makeup person.

I use UD eyelid primer and love it- it really makes such a difference. Im also a sucker for buying tons of beauty products at Target and trying them out- so when I run out, maybe I'll try this one!

OMG. You're obviously not the last one at everything because you just taught me about Flo Rida. Is this a sign I'm getting old??!

Haha... and here I was thinking that Im always late for the party! Glad that I have a company now :) I recently discovered face primer... and it keeps the shine away the foundation(in my case its tinted moisturizer) stays put.

Hilarious. I figured out the Flo-rida thing right away, however, I still have yet to recognize one of his songs. :)

I don't really use eye primer but I do love to use face primer. It makes my skin so soft. I love the Sei Bella brand.

Good eye primer at Target?! Hello, I'll have to check this out! I recently ran out of my MAC painterly paint pot, which I'd been using as primer. So, I went back to the Too Faced Shadow Insurance that'd been in my makeup drawer for quite awhile. It's getting the job done so I figure I'll get my money's worth and use it up :P

i did a post ALLLL on eyelid primers (search if you'd like). i've not tried this one.

Sounds good. Glad the product helped your shades to last longer. I've hear NYX jumbo pencil in Milk does a fantastic job as a primer and its cheaper too I guess. I haven't tried coz its availability here is not good. Do try that out too...
Anyways, glad you took time to comment on my blog dear.
I'd love it if you followed too via GFC, FB etc! :)

I don't have an iPhone either, though I do have an iPod Touch.

I love eyeshadow primer! My lids get really oily, so for me this is a must! It helps my eyeshadow stay put all day!

I love a good primer! I haven't tried this one yet, I'll have to check it out!

LyddieGal said...

Flo Rida is Floria? News to me. But I do have an iphone and eyeshadow primer - my skin is so oily the shadow would always clump up in the crease and primer is a godsend!

Chic on the Cheap

Bravoe Runway said...

I've never tried this primer but several others like Smashbox, clinique, tarte. None are as good as Urban Decay's eyeshadow potion primer. It does not crease....ok only on a 90+ degree humid day, but since that's only a few days out of the year in Chicago that's acceptable.

becks said...

thx for sharing this great review!

I've used several but not this one before. I like Smashbox at the moment.
