Upstaged

Dress (Macy's); Shirt (Gap); Belt (Target); Shoes (Nine West); Watch (Fossil);
Nicole Lai Photography

I'm used to being upstaged by a small furry creature... So when this little squirrel buddy insisted on hanging out while doing some serious posing, the moment had to be captured.  I think he wanted to convey that for squirrel fashion it's all about a bushy statement tail... it's the rodent equivalent to the blogger bun :)

Cute post! You've inspired me to try a shirt under my summer dresses! I love this look! And how in the world do you get your hair to stay in a bun? I tried on Sat and mine fell so I had to pin it lower.

I still wish I could be as fashionable as you, lol

Bahahaha! Love it.

I love this sweater dress! I usually avoid them because of my midsection, but I love the shawl collar on this one and how you've layered it. I might need to add it to my shopping list.

Joe is going to die when I show him this post, he is obsessed with squirrels and used to have a squirrel friend at his old place. Squirrels do not come on our porch so he is sad about that and this will make his day!

Layering the black sweater dress with the blue blouse was a stroke of genius; you look gorgeous, especially with that beautiful blonde hair pinned up!

The squirrel was adorable; he looks like he's ready to break into a little soft shoe at any moment!

Heather! I have had computer (internet connection) issues since Friday, so I haven't been able to get back to you and tell you I appreciate your nice words to me regarding my Pink Post. I titled it Favorite Ones but I think it should be Pink Post now. Hmmmmm, I'll think on that. Your slender willowy frame is perfect in this post. I bet you eat like a horse tho, huh?
